What personal data do we process?

When you visit our website

When you visit our website, we process certain personal data, such as the IP address of your computer, the time you visit the website and data you send through the browser you use. When you subscribe to our newsletters

If you subscribe to (one of) our newsletters via our website, we collect:

  • Your first name and surname;

  • Name of your company/organisation (applies only to the newsletter for professionals, not if you sign up to the newsletter for consumers).

We send you newsletters via email until you indicate that you no longer wish to receive them. At the bottom each newsletter is a link which you can use to unsubscribe. You will then receive no further newsletters from us and your details will be removed from our database immediately.

Cookies on our website

In order to view the YouTube videos that we share on our website, we use three cookies from YouTube which record preferences such as selected language, the number of search results displayed and the bandwidth, among others. These cookies are valid as follows: “YSC” – session duration, “VISITORINFO1LIVE“– eight months and “PREF” – 10 years.

Third-party social media cookies

To allow visitors to our website to follow the activities of Samen Tegen Voedselverspilling via social media, we have placed social media buttons in the footer of our website.
